Welcome back to the Holistic Millionaire podcast. So excited to connect with you and so excited about the topic. We're going to be talking about the sales surge strategy. Five keys to rapidly boost your revenue. So anytime that you're wanting a sales surge, it's, I want you to come back to this episode and re-listen to it. It will be a great thing to just kind of have in your back.
pocket whenever you need to create a sales surge. So one of the things to think about, you know, is your skills with selling are a continually evolving skill set. We talk about the six identities to grow and scale your holistic business to six and seven figures. And so it is the
the holistic professional, the holistic entrepreneur, the holistic CEO, the holistic millionaire, the holistic mystic and the holistic creator. Those are all the six identities. So the holistic entrepreneur is where the marketing skills and the sales skills, that's where you're strengthening those skills in that identity. So becoming a sales goddess.
is such a key component of growing a world changing business and also leaning into loving sales. A lot of holistic professionals, and I know this was the case for me when I first started out, I was like, I want to help all these people. I want to transform the world. And I just want this endless flow of clients to work with these amazing clients. And, but I don't want to do any marketing and selling.
Right? I just want to do my craft. I want to do the yummy work. I want to have the best clients. And once I got that all those desires to have the yummy clients to do the amazing work that I wanted to do with clients and how I wanted to transform the world that marketing and selling was an imperative.
component of that desire that would lead to the fulfillment of the desire that I had to create transformation. So once I connected the dots like this is actually part of the transformational journey. And I've shared the story before, but I'll just share it again because it really was such a turning point for me. So I was leading a transformational workshop in Florida and it was the first day.
There was about, I don't know, 20, 25 people. We were sitting in a circle getting ready to do the guided imagery for the day. And I remember looking around the room and I'm like, my gosh, look at all these amazing people that have come for the transformational workshop. We're going to have the best time ever. It's going to be so incredible. I was just so excited. And as I looked around the room, I had a conversation with myself and I said, Shelly,
Your marketing and selling allowed this to happen. When I looked into the eyes of every single person that was there, I thought of the interactions I had with them, the marketing activities that they were a part of that allowed them to fly across the country and come to this transformational workshop. So in that moment, it was like, I love.
marketing and selling like it was just like this connecting the dots moment. And so if you can think of going to the next level in your selling skills and what we'll be going over today is creating a sales surge, which is this opportunity to help more people and to really create more transformation with your sales surge.
So you want to refer back to this again and again, but also with this framing of learning to love sales and marketing. So, so let's dive in. So the first step in creating a sales surge is identifying what your bold money goal is. And I like to break bold money goals down to quarters.
And the reason for that is a lot of times sales activity you might be doing in the first month, you know, a lot of it can come to, you know, you get, get signups in the second month. And then the stuff that you do in the first and second month can really snowball and then come in on the third month. So that's why I like to give that, range of three months to create a sales surge and to set a bold money goal.
So in the visionary builder level of the holistic business school, we are doing a sales sprint to create a sales surge. So everyone identified their bold money goal. And actually we went into the holistic business school and had everyone do the same thing there. So in visionary builder, people set their sales goals for the quarter. know, some are at 150,000, some are at
120,000. I think we have one person maybe at 250,000. So all different ranges of what their sales goal is for the quarter. So the first thing with a sales surge is what is your sales goal? How much money do you want to bring in? And for some people,
they like to translate that into how many people are they going to help. So sometimes you can be like, I'm going to sign on five people or I'm going to sign on 10 people. So whatever you have to do, some people are motivated by the number and some people translate that into this many clients in my signature program. So it could be a certain amount in your signature program. Maybe some people are coming into your VIP or your diamond level.
Um, so the first is to set the goal. And I ended up writing out, I think this is so fun to think through when we're looking at the different milestones to grow and scale your business to a million, multiple millions. It's fun to see kind of like what the monthly amounts are to hit a certain sales goal. So I'm just going to walk through. If you want to make 250,000 in an entire year.
You want to track, you know, making $20,000 a month. If you want to make $500,000 a year, you want to be on track to bring in $40,000 a month in your business. If you want to make $750,000, you want to be on track to make 60,000 a month in your business. And then if you want to make a million, that is a hundred thousand dollars a month.
If you want to make $1.5 million, then you want to be on track for $125,000 a month. And then finally, $2 million in your business would be $160,000 a month. So these are good numbers to write down to just get yourself oriented with when you go to new milestones in your holistic business.
⁓ and set your bold money goal accordingly. So the first step is to set your bold money goal. The second step to create a sales search is to open to receive more with ease. So there are multiple things that you can do to create a sales search and some of those things will be easy and some of those things will be hard. So is there a
a way that you can create the activities for your sales surge to be a light lift for you. Things that you enjoy doing, things that you are inspired to do, oftentimes have a lot of good energy and you're excited about them. So continuing, you know, set that goal with the second step to open up to receive more with ease and that you can even convert into an affirmation.
that I am open to receive more with ease. The next part of being open to receive more with ease is stepping into the frequency of overflow.
One of the things that we do is practice different feeling states in the holistic business school. And so what would the feeling state and frequency of overflow feel like for you? And not only an overflow in money.
an overflow in ideal clients. It could be an overflow of time. It could be an overflow of love. It could be an overflow of spaciousness. So I want you to start to practice just feeling that sense of overflow that you are all the areas of your life that you're wanting to nurture. feel a peaceful sense of overflow.
The third step in creating a sales surge is refining your message to attract premium clients. So I want you to go onto your website. want you to go onto all your social media profiles. If you have a Facebook group everywhere on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, wherever you are doing your marketing.
And I want you to look at everything with fresh eyes and look at the visual images and then the messaging to say, would this attract a high level, ideal client, premium client? And if not, do some shifting.
and do some shifting in your messaging that you are entering the conversation with your next level ideal client. What is their pain point? What is the conversation they're having in their head? What could you say that would speak into their heart that they're like, I can help you with that problem that you have. I can help you get to where you want to go. If it's a dream or an aspiration of your soul aligned premium.
So take a look at your messaging and make sure that your messaging is on point for your next level, sole aligned ideal client. And that when they find you, it doesn't take long for them to connect and to know that you deal with the problem and you help them get to the solution and the result that they're looking for.
So that is number three to create a sales surge. And then number four is really going into that sacred selling mindset. When we talk about sacred selling, there are three phases of it, which is connecting, cultivating, and converting. So I want you to look.
at everyone on your email list, everyone you're in conversation with, everyone in your Facebook group, and see who you have in those different stages. Are there people in your Facebook group that you haven't connected with yet? Making those connections would be the next step in your sacred selling process. Cultivating is deepening the connection with a potential client. Who?
And it could be a past client. could be a potential client. How can you nurture that person? And oftentimes, nurturing with content or nurturing with a conversation. Checking in with them. What is the next step in that conversation that can lead to a sign up into your program? And that would be the conversion piece. What are those direct invitations?
How often are you making offers to work with somebody? Are you doing it on a daily basis? Are you doing it on a weekly basis? You know, how often you're making offers will determine how much you're selling. So if you want to sell more, make more offers and do more connecting, do more cultivating and do more converting. The more you are
doing all three of those. So when you go into your sacred selling activities, use those three different, you know, connecting, cultivating, converting, who do I need to connect with to just open up the conversation that there might be potential there? Who do I need to cultivate and deepen the connection with and who needs a direct offer?
So that would be number four to create a sales surge. And then number five is getting more visible. How can you get in front of more eyes all at once? And as you're building your visibility on your social media profiles, is there a way that you can accelerate that by getting onto a podcast?
I'll give an example. One of our holistic business school students, I found the perfect podcast for her. is a YouTube podcast. a visual interview style, long form that is a perfect fit for her high volume. There's like 50 to a hundred thousand.
people viewing each episode. It's amazing. So what I'm doing is actually working with her on the infrastructure of her business because I know once she is interviewed on this podcast, she is going to have a sales surge because she is very compelling. Her offer is very compelling and there she's putting herself in front of a large audience.
When you're looking at 50,000 people viewing a podcast, imagine being in an auditorium with 50,000 people. This is like a rock concert, right? This is the kind of people of visibility that you get eyes on you. So is there a podcast that is a good match for you to be interviewed? So you naturally will get in front of a large audience that could
create a sales surge in your business. So that's something to start to take a look for. Is there any in-person presentations that you can do? Is there a networking group that looks for speakers? Can you get in front of people?
that acceleration of know, like, and trust happen so quickly in person. So creating sales surges, you can get immediate sales at a meeting, particularly if you've been the presenter because you're positioned, you know, as the expert. And I remember when I worked with one of my favorite therapists, she was presenting at a conference that I went to and I just walked in the room. I didn't even.
hear what she was saying. just took one look at her and I'm like, she looks amazing. I want to work with her. This is how quickly your ideal clients can assess who you are and determine if they want to work with you. So can you physically get in front of an audience and be the speaker? So even just doing a Google search and do women's networking groups in your city and then go to one of the events, find out if
It would be the kind of group you would want to speak in front of, and then talk to the person that coordinates speakers and see if you can get on the schedule for that. So we're going to do a guided imagery to kind of help create this sales surge as well to release any blocked energy, to create that momentum to hit your bold money goal.
to create this joyful sail surge and to set the intention to set your bold money goal and to hit your bold money goal. So we're going to do some visualization of what it feels like to actually hit your bold money goal. So if you want to just close your eyes, taking a few deep breaths, and as you breathe, imagine what's extending from the bottom of your feet and the base of your spine.
And as those roots are extending, connecting with mother earth.
Feeling yourself just settling into the present moment, connecting with your body, with your breath, with mother earth. And I want you to visualize what your bold money goal will be for the next three months, because we're going to create a sales surge. So whatever that number is, whether it's a hundred thousand, 200,000, 150,000.
whatever the amount is, see if you can just visualize and get clear about what you want that amount to be.
And I want you then to feel the frequency. What does that amount of money energetically feel like? And I want you to consciously set that intention that you are aligning your energetic frequency with the frequency of that amount of money. It's like different amounts of money operate at different frequencies.
And we want you to get comfortable with your bold money goal with that amount.
So breathing into the frequency, aligning with that frequency.
And I want you just to imagine what it's like to achieve that bold money goal that we're kind of at the end of those three months. And you are celebrating that you have brought in these amazing soul aligned ideal clients. You've hit your bold money goal joyfully. And I want you to feel in your body what that feels like. Are you jumping up and down?
Do you feel a sense of freedom and joy? Are you just like so over the moon happy? So what is the feeling state in your body after achieving and hitting your bold money goal? And I want you to feel that energy in your body right now.
and just breathing it in.
Feeling the sensations of those emotions in your body.
And then I want you to visualize to what you're going to do when that happens. And it could be jumping up and down. It could be if you have a loved one nearby that you're jumping into their arms and you're celebrating and you're laughing. is it calling your best friend and celebrating? What would be.
image that you can keep coming back to again and again. That is your celebration of it all ready happening. It could be that you're giving yourself a big hug. like the one of like jumping up and down that you're just ecstatic. So whatever that celebration images, I want you just to visualize that right now.
coupled with the feeling state of it is already done. And just breathing into it.
And then one final step here, and that is connecting with your spiritual connection and ask your spiritual connection. What is one simple thing that I could do right away that would align me with my bold money goal?
and just open up to any of those.
the message, you know, what would be one simple thing you could do that helps you align your frequency helps to set the stage for this to be a done deal with your bold money goal.
And now just breathing into that.
Feeling the gratitude that you have hit your bold money goal. You're feeling all of that joy, that sense of freedom, that gratitude. You're in that image of how you're celebrating and it is done. Yes. Great job. I could just feel that so deeply. So I'm so excited for you.
